When I began running, running was very difficult. Within minutes I was out of breath, taking frequent breaks, feeling like "running just isn't for me." Then, after pushing through for a week or so the aches and pains come in - knees, ankles, shins, and don't forget my achilles tendon. Sound familiar? I spent the first three years of my running journey in this mode - often exhausted, achy, injured and frustrated. My fundamental principle of running is this is NOT how it should be. Years of mistakes have led me to understanding what works and what doesn’t. This plan will get you to the finish line avoiding many of the mistakes I made.
